A few small things to keep your El Rose pieces looking their best.

Your jewellery is made to be worn and loved. The gold components are stainless steel with an 18k PVD gold-plating, made to be tarnish and water resistant, so your pieces are built to hold up to everyday life. A little care simply keeps them looking their brightest for longer.

Water is fine, care is kinder. Thanks to the PVD gold-plating, everyday moments, washing your hands, getting caught in the rain, won't harm your pieces. To keep them at their best, we still suggest taking them off before swimming, as chlorine and salt water are harsh over time, and applying perfume, lotion and hairspray before you put your jewellery on, never after.

Be gentle with the details. Some pieces feature glass, pearl, enamel or natural stone. These are more delicate than the metal, keep them away from knocks, harsh chemicals and long soaks so they stay beautiful.

Store it well. When you are not wearing a piece, keep it somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight, a soft pouch or a lined box is ideal. Storing pieces separately helps keep fine chains from tangling.

Clean it gently. Wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth to keep it bright, and avoid abrasive cleaners.
